Barr’s Katie Wolohan and Troy Warner to present at Energy Generation Conference

January 17, 2019

Two staff members from Barr are scheduled to present at Bismarck State College’s Energy Generation Conference on January 29-31 in Bismarck, North Dakota. Katie Wolohan, PE, will discuss per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), emerging contaminants of concern, in groundwater and drinking water systems and the issues related to PFAS impacts of aqueous film-forming foam concentrates in North Dakota and throughout the United States.

Troy Warner, PE, will highlight Barr’s work evaluating and implementing a variable frequency drive at Great River Energy’s Spiritwood Station. His presentation will contrast the identified performance cost savings in the options study versus the actual realized cost saving and will discuss lessons learned during the project.

In addition, Barr will be exhibiting at Booth 500 & 501 during the conference. For more information, click here.
