Barr’s John Greer and Kurt Leuthold to present at 2019 Water Summit

Two Barr employees are presenting at the 2019 Water Summit on May 9 at the Science Museum of Minnesota in Saint Paul. Senior hydrogeologist John Greer will co-present with Todd Osweiler of Rochester Public Utilities on “Sustainability of Source-Water Supply—City of Rochester” as part of the “groundwater protection and water use/supply” track. Vice president and senior civil engineer Kurt Leuthold will discuss “Hall’s Island and Scherer Site Reconstruction: Planning, Community Engagement, and Design” with Jon Duesman of the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board and Marcy Bean of the Mississippi Watershed Management Organization in the “lakes, rivers, wetlands, and habitat restoration” track.

Barr is also a sponsor of the 2019 Water Summit, which will explore new and innovative ways to protect surface and groundwater resources while highlighting the role of people in determining the outcomes of such work. Click here to register and learn more.
