Barr names six new officers

Barr’s board of directors has named six new vice presidents, who are also principals of the firm. They are:

Kim Alfonsi, a senior environmental consultant in Barr’s Ann Arbor office, who has more than 25 years of experience and serves as a project manager and senior technical resource for air-permitting and compliance projects.

Nathan Campeau, a senior water resources engineer in Barr’s Minneapolis office, who has nearly 20 years of experience with projects involving flood risk management, green infrastructure design, and stormwater quality analysis and improvement.

Tim Greenleaf, a senior civil engineer in Barr’s Minneapolis office, who has nearly 15 years of experience and manages projects for mining, fuels, and power clients.

Tom Kuchinski, the stack testing services coordinator in Barr’s Minneapolis office, who has over three decades of experience with air quality testing and environmental sampling and manages Barr’s stack-testing support services group.

Ryan Siats, a senior chemical engineer in Barr’s Duluth office, who has over a decade of experience and manages environmental reviews, permitting, and technical studies for the development, construction, and operation of new and expanding facilities.

Barr’s board of directors appointed Charlie Rehn as a business development vice president. Charlie is a senior geotechnical engineer in Barr’s Salt Lake City office, who has more than four decades of experience. In this role, he will support client relationship management, new market development, and staff development, representing Barr’s services and locations and seeking the best solutions and resources for our clients.

The board also named Mark Hagley a principal emeritus of the firm. Mark is a senior hydrogeologist in Barr’s Duluth office with over 25 years of environmental consulting experience. He established the Duluth office in 1996 and continues to provide leadership to staff working on site assessment and remediation projects.
