Andrew has experience with construction oversight, soil screening and sampling, PFAS and water-quality sampling, air-quality sampling, engineering design development and review, data evaluation, remote site monitoring, report preparation, permit writing, and ecological restoration. At Barr, his project work has involved designing, bench testing, implementing, and maintaining a granular activated carbon (GAC) treatment system to treat PFAS-impacted water during the decommissioning of a power plant; preparing conceptual site models, performing option evaluations, and writing feasibility studies for addressing groundwater concerns at coal ash landfills; and implementing and monitoring a remote water-quality sensing system for a U.S. EPA sediment remediation project.
