Andy's three decades of environmental consulting experience have centered on helping clients achieve and maintain compliance with a wide variety of environmental regulatory programs. Clients turn to him for strategic advice on managing environmental compliance, developing corporate sustainability policies, and improving operations and performance.
Andy manages projects involving environmental review and permitting; planning; auditing; and development and implementation of environmental management systems. His experience includes creating facility response plans, directing multimedia regulatory-compliance and management-system audits, managing ISO 14001 EMS development projects, and leading the preparation of Environmental Assessment Worksheets and Environmental Impact Statements. In addition, he leads Barr’s climate-change group, providing assistance to clients on issues involving greenhouse gases and sustainability. He is a member of the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce’s Climate Change Task Force.
