Blaine applies his more than three decades of environmental management experience to help resource-development and other industrial clients with projects involving environmental assessment and permitting, regulatory compliance, and conservation and reclamation. His background provides him with extensive knowledge of environmental-impact assessment and analysis; provincial and federal regulatory-approval processes; and issues related to waste management and air, soil, and water quality. Blaine’s recent work at Barr includes managing multiple fugitive greenhouse-gas monitoring programs for oil sands and coal-mining clients and managing environmental site assessment and investigation projects in Calgary and Edmonton.
