Karen has nearly three decades of experience with projects involving risk assessment, risk management, and environmental permitting and compliance. She develops site-specific cleanup criteria and prepares human health risk assessments, vapor intrusion assessments, risk management plans, liability assessments, conceptual site models, no further action and closure plans, and due diligence. Karen has experience with many environmental remediation programs, including CERCLA, RCRA, Toxic Substances Control Act, and Part 201 of Michigan's National Resource and Environmental Protection Act (Act 451). Her work also includes assessing the risks associated with many contaminants including arsenic, trichloroethylene (TCE), and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
