Kurt has over three decades of experience in stormwater management, land and public-space development, green infrastructure, low-impact development, green buildings, hydrology, and hydraulics. He designs surface-water management solutions for cities, water management organizations, watershed districts, industrial clients, developers, and educational institutions. Kurt understands the interaction of water, soils, and plants and ways that urban infrastructure can support biodiversity and environmental protection. In addition to his project work, he teaches workshops and gives presentations about alternative stormwater management techniques.
