Mandar has more than 18 years of experience in water resources engineering, specifically on projects involving surface water and stormwater. His areas of interest and expertise are water resources systems and the integration of surface-water and groundwater systems for sustainable solutions, specifically the application of optimization, risk, reliability, and uncertainty analysis to a water resources problem using the systems approach. Mandar’s experience includes compiling gridded and lumped hydrologic models for small to multi-square-mile watersheds, conducting hydraulic analysis of simple to complex watercourses, and performing scour analysis of structures and watercourses. He has also developed and reviewed Federal Emergency Management Agency mapping products and map revision requests.
