Miguel has 25 years of experience on projects involving hydrologic modeling, hydraulic design, and river mechanics analysis. He also specializes in quality management as well as the management of projects that include multidisciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders. He has performed physical and numerical modeling of sediment transport processes in rivers and deltas, developed feasibility studies and engineering designs for flood control projects, conducted hydrological assessments of extreme storm and flood events, prepared water- and tailings-management plans for mines, and supervised construction. Miguel also conducts environmental impact studies and water quality evaluations and prepares dam-removal and stream-restoration plans.
