Paul has nearly three decades of experience as a wildlife biologist working in northern and western Canada. He focuses on planning and conducting wildlife and wildlife-habitat baseline investigations for infrastructure, proposed mining projects, and on- and off-shore oil and gas developments, with an emphasis on federal, provincial, and territorial species of management concern. Paul has substantial knowledge of wildlife management and population assessment, land-use management, biophysical impact assessment, and at-risk species. He is also well-versed in legislation and regulations relevant to wildlife and habitat management and conservation in Alberta.
