Samantha Anthonijs

Samantha, who has 10 years of experience, assists clients with air quality permitting and regulatory compliance. Her work includes determining regulatory applicability, preparing compliance plans and reports, developing air permitting applications, and assessing environmental risk associated with manufacturing operations. She also manages projects, performs quality reviews of documents, and negotiates with state and federal regulators on behalf of clients.

Before joining Barr, Samantha gained 10 years of experience as a senior environmental engineer at 3M Company, where she acquired in-depth familiarity with air permits and standards such as Title V, PSD, NSPS , and MACT.

Samantha has a special interest in the fate, transport, and redeposition of chemicals and the management of emerging pollutants like per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Her background also encompasses water-quality and waste permitting and compliance, general manufacturing-process technology, and research and development.
