Free webinar: Minnesota's proposed Class 3 and 4 water quality standards

On February 17, Abby Morrisette, Meg Pierce-Walsh, and Melisa Pollak will present “Minnesota Proposed Class 3 and 4 Water Quality Standards.” Minnesota is in the process of promulgating revised water quality standards for the protection of agricultural and industrial uses (Class 3 and 4 uses). Affected parameters include specific conductance, sulfate, nitrate, salinity, and hardness. These changes will affect many dischargers throughout the state. Please join Barr for this free webinar as we review the proposed standards and discuss what they may mean for wastewater dischargers in Minnesota. In this 60-minute session, we will cover the following topics:

  1. Proposed Class 3 and 4 water quality standards
  2. Use of the numeric translators
  3. Specific conductance guidance for aquatic life
  4. Schedule for public comment, review, and implementation

Who should attend?
Environmental managers, NPDES permitting and compliance engineers/specialists, and other environmental professionals interested in NPDES wastewater permitting or compliance in Minnesota.

The webinar will be held on Wednesday, February 17, at 1:00–2:00 p.m. CST. Register here.
