On May 2 at 11:00 a.m., Chris Lenhart will present “Culvert Design for Aquatic Organism Passage: Benefits and Challenges.” This session will focus on the general principles of aquatic organism passage (AOP), the opportunities and potential benefits of AOP, and relevant AOP case studies.
Then, also on May 2 at 3:30 p.m., Joeyln Kozar will present “Constructed Wetlands as Wetland Replacement.” Joeyln will highlight Alberta’s wetland policy, detail stormwater wetland examples from Minnesota, and share takeaways to apply to Alberta’s policy.
