Steve Klein named Professional Manager of the Year by APWA

Vice president and senior civil engineer Steve Klein has been named the national Professional Manager of the Year in Water Resources by the American Public Works Association. During his 45 years at Barr, Steve has assisted local, state, and federal governments; watershed districts; and private industries with stormwater management, water supply, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, water quality, and forensic engineering. The APWA’s Minnesota Chapter stated that “Steve’s contributions have spanned the advancement of water resources management to solve today’s complex water management problems in ways that serve the future… In addition, Steve makes a significant effort to advance the profession and is a requested guest speaker at many conferences and seminars held by APWA and other professional organizations.”
