Ward Swanson and Erik Boleman will participate in panel discussions during the National Council for Air and Stream Improvement (NCASI) 2020 Conference, a virtual event that will run from October 13 through October 16.
At 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. CDT on October 14, Ward will participate in a panel discussion that will review current issues involving per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) regulations, analytical methods, and NCASI activity in this area. Later that same day, from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. CDT, Ward will take part in a PFAS roundtable that will provide insight on considerations for field sampling at paper mills and other relevant sites.
On October 15, Erik will participate in “Regional Haze in the Northwest,” a panel discussion on regional haze with a specific focus on Oregon and Washington. The state of state and regional analyses and potential impacts on forest-product facilities will be presented.
The virtual NCASI 2020 Conference will feature more than 100 live and pre-recorded expert sessions that explore timely issues that affect the fiber supply chain from the forest through the finished product. Click here for more information and to register for the event.
