On October 20 and 21, the University of Minnesota’s Water Resources Center and College of Continuing and Professional Studies will host the virtual 2020 Minnesota Water Resources Conference. Sarah Stratton, Greg Wilson, and Joel Toso are scheduled to participate as presenters or moderators.
Sarah, along with Jessica Wilson and Ross Bintner of the City of Edina, will present “Edina’s Flood Risk Reduction Strategy” at 10:20 a.m. on October 20. Later that day, Greg will co-moderate a panel discussion with Ron Leaf of Kimley Horn & Associates on the “Importance of Stormwater Infiltration and Water Storage” at 3:00 p.m. Also on October 20, Joel will present “Comparison Between Modified Philip-Dunne and Double-Ring Infiltrometers for Basin Performance Verification” at 3:20 p.m with Rena Weis of Wenck Associates, Dwayne Stenlund of the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT), and Jeremy Walgrave of SEH, Inc. On October 21 at 1:00 p.m., Greg will co-moderate another panel discussion, “Roadway Conveyance Influences on Stormwater Quality,” with Andrea Hendrickson of MnDOT.
