Sheldon Sorensen

Sheldon Sorensen

For over three decades, Sheldon has been designing power generation systems, power distribution systems, and real-time process controls and instrumentation for municipalities and industrial clients. He assists industrial plants with power distribution, motor control, and communication system designs, as well as evaluates and designs municipal electrical systems, including overhead and underground power distribution, street lighting, substations, and control systems. He has also provided analysis, design, and construction services on hundreds of projects (including solar power projects) for industries, utilities, and municipalities throughout the upper Midwest.

As part of his contributions to over 300 water and wastewater treatment plant projects, Sheldon designed standby power, parallel production systems, co-generation systems, distributed-control systems, programmable logic controllers, personal-computer-based monitoring, and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems using fiber-optic phone lines and radio.
